Liability Waiver
Participant/Volunteer Waiver for Adventure Mindful, LLC (d/b/a Run Mindful Retreats, formerly known as Enchanted Runs, LLC) I know that running [volunteering for] a running retreat is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature or electronic acceptance, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a retreat official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the retreat and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running in this retreat, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, animals, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, fires, storms, traffic and the conditions of the road, trails, technical terrains, altitude, and running/hiking long distances, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, and personal music players are not allowed in the retreat group runs and I will abide by all retreat rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Run Mindful Retreats owned by Adventure Mindful, LLC, all parks, cities, counties, municipalities including but not limited to Jackson County, City of Applegate in Oregon, City of Jacksonville in Oregon, Lindsay Lodge, United States of America / National Park Service, the City of Malibu in California, City of Topanga in California, Los Angeles County, Topanga State Park, City of Boulder in Colorado, Boulder County, the Road Runners Club of America, all event sponsors, their representatives, owners, land property owners, Run Mindful ambassadors, Run Mindful running leaders, Adventure Mindful owners, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons/entities named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, video, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that this event does not provide for refunds in the event of a cancellation, and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled before or during the event except as outlined in the events cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
All purchases are final and your registration cannot be cancelled or transferred. In the event that you are unable to attend, please email us. If we can fill your spot, we will refund your registration minus $150 administration fees. No refunds will be given if canceled within 21 days of your registered retreat start date.
Event may be canceled if less than 12 participants. In the event the event is cancelled due to participation numbers you will receive a full refund of your Run Mindful Registration fees.
In the unlikely case of the camp being cancelled due to circumstances out of our control (natural disaster, etc) all fees will be refunded, minus $250 administrative fee.
